WASHINGTON — Saturday was the first time in more than one month that the public was allowed inside the Smithsonian's National Zoo.

And while all of the animals were back on the display, the zoo's main attraction continues to be the 4-year-old giant pandas Qing Bao and Bao Li.

But even if you weren't able to make it out to Adams Morgan, Saturday was still a momentous day for panda lovers as the zoo's 'Giant Panda Cam' was finally back online.

The panda cam has longer hours than the actual zoo, with live recordings of the bears available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day of the week. After 7 p.m., the camera feed switches to a pre-recorded view of the pandas from the previous 12-hour period.
