Wind advisory issued for Berkshire County until 1 a.m. Monday

On Sunday at 11:48 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid from noon until Monday 1 a.m. for Berkshire County.

The weather service describes, “Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts around 45 to 50 mph are expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
