LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) - A 35-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with an explosion on the Las Vegas strip, according to a Sunday, Nov. 16, news release from the Metropolitan Police Department.

On Saturday, Nov. 15, John Navarro was arrested, booked into the Clark County Detention Center, and charged with possessing, manufacturing, disposing of an explosive device; arson, first degree; using an explosive device to damage/destroy property; conspiracy to commit arson, first degree; carrying a concealed weapon without permit; possession of a controlled susbtance – Flnztrpm/GHB/Precursor; possession of a stolen vehicle; and owning/operating a vehicle chop shop.
