SIOUX CITY ( KTIV /Gray News) - Officials say a bus carrying a high school basketball team was involved in a crash along Highway 75 in Iowa.
First responders were sent to a crash on Highway 75, near the Plymouth and Woodbury County line, where officials say members of a local basketball team were hurt.
According to the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received multiple 911 calls in reference to a two-vehicle crash at 12:53 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15.
In a press release from the sheriff’s office, a 2014 StarCraft Prodigy bus and a black 2016 Jeep Compass crashed near the intersection of Highway 75 and C80 in Plymouth County, leaving the vehicles partially on the roadway.
The sheriff’s office says the bus was stopped on C80 and attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Highway 7
