A federal judge sentenced a 23-year-old Shaktoolik man to 30 years in prison last week for the sexual exploitation of three minors to produce pornography and for cyberstalking the children and an adult.

Matthew Jackson pleaded guilty to the charges in May at the Federal Building and Courthouse in Fairbanks.

According to court documents, Jackson sexually exploited the three 15-year-olds and cyberstalked the four victim between December 2021 and July 2023.

Jackson used a cellphone to message the three minors to have them create images and videos depicting explicit images and subsequently use the content to coerce the victims. He then filmed them in sexual encounters without consent and supplied them with marijuana and alcohol in exchange for sex.
