HOLIDAYS IN HARTFORD: Holidays in Hartford will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Hartford municipal building on state Route 305 and other locations around the township center off state Route 7. The day allows for choosing from a wide variety of crafters, baked goods and items from small businesses. Lunch will be served at the Hartford Community Church on Route 7. Each participating location will have maps and punch cards. Punch cards when punched can be entered into a raffle drawing.

ADOPTION DAY: Judge James Fredericka of the Trumbull County Probate Court will host an Adoption Day celebration at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Attendees will witness adoptions and see a foster child adopted by their forever family. The event also will serve as a celebration for other adoptions that have taken plac
