CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Tuesday is a First Alert Weather Day.

Widespread rain is expected throughout most of the day, starting around 2 a.m., according to the FOX19 NOW Weather Team.

Expect heavy downpours and, between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., a few thunderstorms.

A few evening thunderstorms may be on the stronger side, with strong winds.

Rain amounts will range from a quarter inch to an inch, the weather team says.

The wet weather will move out of the region by Wednesday.
