COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A dry cold front came through Sunday and has bumped down the temperatures a few degrees for the start of the workweek, but it’s near to just above average for this time of year. We’ll see temperatures well above average mid to late week.

Lots of sun on this Monday. Temperatures will go from the 40s early into the upper 60s and lower 70s during the afternoon. This will be coolest day of the workweek.

Clear and turning chilly Monday night. Lows in the low to mid 40s Tuesday morning.

Sunny Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Not as chilly Wednesday morning with lows in the low 50s. Highs Wednesday and Thursday afternoon will be in the lower 80s with a noticeably more humid feel.

We’re expected to be within a couple degrees of record highs Thursday and Frida
