COLUMBUS — Transit agencies in northwest Ohio and throughout the state will receive funding through the Ohio Workforce Mobility Partnership program, Gov. Mike DeWine announced Monday.
“Transportation should never stand in the way of a good job,” Mr. DeWine said. “This investment will help more Ohioans get to work and support employers who need reliable, skilled workers.”
Agencies in Lucas, Erie, and Allen counties, among others, are receiving a total of $13.5 million, according to a news release from the governor’s office.
Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority will receive $122,468 to expand its flex micro-transit service to Westwinds Industrial Park in Holland.
Sandusky Transit System will get $263,798 to replace two aging buses.
