PHILADELPHIA — Veteran Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, is expected to miss extended time after suffering a Lisfranc injury in his right foot during Sunday night’s win over the Detroit Lions, a team source confirmed Monday after multiple reports.

It is another major blow to an offensive line that has been battling injuries all season.

The Lisfranc joint, named for a French surgeon in the 1700s, involves the bones and tendons on the top of the foot toward the middle. It is a complex area of the foot with many intersecting parts that affect one another.

Johnson left in the first quarter after a Saquon Barkley run on a third-and-short was stopped. He spent a brief stretch in the blue medical tent before walking to the locker room and was eventually ruled out
