ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. — The Orangeburg County School District (OCSD) is rolling out a new initiative aimed at supporting students and families facing food insecurity. The program, called Rolling for a Reason , will deliver free meals across the county throughout November and December.

The initiative also showcases the talent within the district’s Career and Technical Education programs. Culinary Arts students from the Orangeburg Technology Center and Lake Marion Technology Center are preparing the meals using the district’s food truck—allowing them to gain hands-on experience while serving their community.

Meals, including free cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and chips, will be available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at multiple locations throughout the district:
