Port Huron residents will get a chance to weigh in on proposed changes to Water Street between 10th and 13th streets during a public input meeting Nov. 20. That three-block segment—Project 1—is the only part of the overall Water Street Area Reconstruction plan where the lane configuration is still being decided.
The city is considering a road diet and public feedback will help finalize the design. The change would shift Water Street from its current four-lane layout to a three-lane design with one lane in each direction and a center left-turn lane.
