ASHEVILLE - Coming off a one-year hiatus, the National Gingerbread House Competition returned with gingerbread artists from across the country gathered at the annual awards ceremony at the Omni Grove Park Inn and Spa in Asheville for one of the most anticipated holiday events of the year.

On Nov. 17, the National Gingerbread House Competition winners were announced for the Grand Prize, People's Choice, Top 10 and specialty awards in the adult, teen, youth and child categories.
