ANN ARBOR, MI — The University of Michigan will consider requesting $85 million from the state for renovation projects at two of its campuses.
The UM Board of Regents will vote during its Thursday, Nov. 20 meeting on two submissions to the State of Michigan to revamp the School of Public Health in Ann Arbor and the Computer and Information Science Building in Dearborn, according to an agenda item .
Ann Arbor campus officials are seeking $45 million for a School of Public Health Classroom and Infrastructure Upgrade renovation project. The renovation would expand and update its instructional and research space, the agenda item states.
The university requested state support for a $150-million expansion and renovation to its School of Public Health last year.
