A Mississauga resident has been charged after a Norfolk County OPP officer was assaulted during an investigation into an intimate partner violence incident.
On Sunday, Nov. 16 just before 5 p.m., police responded to a report of a dispute between two people at a Norfolk County home. Police say an officer was physically assaulted when they attempted to intervene. No injuries were reported.

A 35-year-old has been charged with obstruct peace officer; assault a peace officer; and uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm.
