Snow, ice and lightning strikes are expected to hit Teesside over the next two days , according to the Met Office. The bad weather comes as the government agency issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice for Teesside and North Yorkshire .
Temperatures are expected to fall to below zero over the next couple of days, with a 'feels like' temperature of down to -6C over Wednesday and Thursday. There's also snow and rain showers forecast as well as the possibility of some random lightning strikes on Thursday.
