WILLIAMSTON, N.C. (WITN) - Williamston Police Chief Beth Coltrain says the man wanted for threatening social media posts regarding the upcoming Christmas Parade has been arrested.
Coltrain says police got several reports on Monday of threatening social media posts about the parade, which is on Saturday morning.
Officers began investigating and got warrants for 31-year-old Jarrett Modica, Jr. of Chapel Hill.
Coltrain says Modica was arrested and is currently being held at the Durham County Detention Center.
He received a $5,000 secured bond for a probation violation and is being held without bond on all remaining charges. A Durham County District Court Judge will address bond for these additional charges in the morning.
