CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - One person was injured in a mobile home fire last night in Craven County.
Township 7 Fire-Rescue says they were called to Brooks Drive in James City for a fire around 7:40 p.m.
Firefighters from four fire departments were able to put out the fire in about an hour.
A neighbor says a homeless man was living in the abandoned mobile home. She told WITN that he came up on her doorstep and said his hand was burned.
The victim was taken to ECU Health Medical Center, according to the neighbor.
Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.
