GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - After a stellar high school career with D.H. Conley, Britni Silver is off to the next level, as she just signed Monday to officially play at NC State.

With possibly the hardest shot in the state, Silver is coming off another big year with the Vikings, where they won the East Bracket of 7A and finished as the state runner-up, thanks in a big part to her kill attempts.

“Coach told me you don’t have to hit the ball the hardest every time,” Silver recalled, “But I still hit the crap out of the ball.”

In total over her career, Silver racked up 1,560 kills, 165 aces & 699 digs.

“I think Britni will easily one day be in the Conley Hall of Fame, I think she’s one of the strongest volleyball players we’ve seen come through this school since it opened,” Head Volleyball
