AGAWAM, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Stillbrook Park, opened last year in the Feeding Hills area of Agawam, is now facing a complaint that it is in violation of state accessibility standards and could potentially face closure from this complaint if it’s not addressed.
Stillbrook was funded partly by the community preservation act here in Agawam, meaning some funding came directly out of residents’ tax dollars.
Now nearly all the walking trails inside the park are not paved.
Early Tuesday evening, Western Mass News spoke with Feedings Hills resident Kristin DeCioccio who tells us, as a wheelchair user, gravel trails make it difficult and almost impossible for her to enjoy the park.
