DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The DeKalb County Board of Commissioners voted 6-1 on Tuesday to approve a $45 million private hangar project at DeKalb–Peachtree Airport , moving the long-debated development forward despite pushback from some neighbors.
Sky Harbour Group will bring eight new hangars to the east side of the airport under a 50-year ground lease.
County officials emphasized that the deal requires no financial investment from DeKalb County.
