BERTIE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Bertie County deputies are urging residents to be vigilant after reports of unusual door knocking.

Deputies say suspicious vehicles were spotted yesterday in the 900 to 1300 blocks of Wakelon and Pine Ridge roads.

According to the sheriff’s office, the man in the photo knocked door-to-door earlier today, asking for gas before driving away in a white truck.
