SUFFOLK, Va. — A fire heavily damaged a home in the 2200 block of Airport Road in Suffolk on Tuesday.
The fire was reported at 4:29 p.m., according to Suffolk Department of Fire & Rescue. Firefighters arrived at 4:37 p.m. to find heavy fire showing from the side and rear of the two-story home.
No occupants were home at the time, and there were no injuries. The fire was declared under control at 5:07 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Suffolk Fire Marshal’s Office.
