‌Scots are set for more frequent snow showers and icy conditions tonight as the Met Office has put a yellow weather warning in place. The national forecaster is urging drivers in affected areas to pack an 'emergency' kit when leaving the house today. ‌

The current snow and ice yellow warning is under a number of areas including Angus, Perth and Kinross, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray, Na h-Eileanan Siar, Highland, Orkney Island, Shetland Islands and Argyll and Bute. The Met Office put the warning in place at 6pm yesterday,Tuesday, November 18, continuing until tomorrow, Thursday, November 20. ‌
