A fundraiser launched to support the grieving family of a young girl who died in a suspected drug death has raised more than £3,000. ‌

Olivia Curley , 11, tragically died at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow on Monday, November 17. The schoolgirl was rushed to hospital via ambulance after taking unwell at her family home in Helensburgh on Sunday. ‌

The Hermitage Academy pupil was placed in Intensive Care but sadly could not be saved. Police say her death is currently being treated as explained, with a full investigation into the circumstances underway. ‌

An online fundraiser has since been set up to support her devastated loved ones.

A tribute on the GoFundMe describes Olivia as a "bright" young girl who was "full of kindness and laughter".
