While some major fast-food chains are shuttering locations, one that has a warm spot in the hearts of many forty-somethings is trying to make a bit of a comeback.
There was a time in this country when you could swing through a Hot ‘n Now drive-thru — you couldn’t dine-in at any of the locations — and pick up a sack full of delicious greasy cheeseburgers and fries, too, for pocket change.
Seriously folks, the burgers were 39 cents in 1990.
The chain was founded in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1984, and people loved it. Because of that, it quickly expanded to more than 150 locations across 15 states. But as quickly as it popped up in towns, it seemed, it began to fade away.
