Yellow weather warnings threatening 10 INCHES of snow on Wednesday have been issued for some towns and cities in England by the Met Office. The Met Office has issued yellow alerts for snow and ice on November 19.

In the warning, it says some parts of England can expect flurries from midday on Wednesday to 11.59pm on Thursday. “By the end of Thursday, as much as 15-25cm may have accumulated on hills above 100m elevation, which is likely to cause substantial disruption," said the Met Office.

Cornwall, Devon, Plymouth, Darlington, Durham, Gateshead, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Redcar and Cleveland, South Tyneside, Stockton-on-Tees and Sunderland are impacted, as well as East Riding of Yorkshire, Kingston upon Hull and North
