Regarding pollution in Delhi-NCR, the Supreme Court said that sports functions held in schools in November-December should be banned. The court gave this order on a question by Senior Advocate Aparajita Singh. Aparajita Singh had said that, considering the current level of pollution in Delhi, such activities are like putting children in a gas chamber.

The bench of CJI BR Gavai, Justice K. Vinod Chandran and Justice NV Anjaria further said that they would hear the matter regarding pollution every month so that a permanent solution could be found.

Additionally, the court also ordered to provide allowance/financial assistance to construction workers who became unemployed due to the implementation of GRAP-3 in Delhi.
