With the 2025 holiday season approaching, major U.S. shipping carriers have released their recommended mailing deadlines to ensure packages arrive by Dec. 25.
U.S. Postal Service holiday shipping deadline
The U.S. Postal Service said customers using Ground Advantage or First-Class Mail should ship by Dec. 17, while Priority Mail packages should be sent by Dec. 18. Priority Mail Express, the agency’s fastest service, can be mailed as late as Dec. 20 for on-time delivery.
UPS holiday shipping deadline
