Boston-based East Bank master developer The Fallon Company has announced the inaugural recipients of a $50,000 grant program designed to support local organizations.

According to a release, 11 nonprofits were selected from 114 applications to receive Fallon Community Fund grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000.

Each organization creates opportunities for community building via neighborhood engagement, environmental stewardship, youth mentorship, public art and cultural programming.
