Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) has summoned social media influencer Orhan “Orry” Awatramani for questioning in connection with the Rs 252-crore mephedrone case. Officials said Orry has been directed to appear before the Ghatkopar unit of the ANC at 10 am tomorrow.

The summon comes as the ANC continues to widen its probe into a major narcotics network involving the manufacture and distribution of mephedrone across Mumbai and other parts of the state.

The investigation intensified after the arrest of alleged drug trafficker Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, also known as “Lavish,” who was recently deported from Dubai and is currently in the custody of the Ghatkopar unit.
