HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. —
An investigation is underway after human remains were found Tuesday in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
The Hendersonville Police Department said the remains were found in a wooded area of Highlands Square Drive.
The medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death, but investigators do not believe the death is suspicious
The identity of the person is not being released until family is notified.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is helping with the full recovery of the remains.
