SPARTANBURG, S.C. —

An investigation is underway after an argument led to a shooting at an apartment complex in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, deputies with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to 350 Bryant Rd, which is listed as the Southern Pines apartment complex, after reports of a shooting.

When deputies arrived, they learned that a verbal altercation between several parties resulted in gunfire. No one was injured in the shooting.

Deputies said it appears that all rounds fired struck a work truck.

The suspects fled the area before deputies arrived.

The shooting remains under investigation. No other details have been released at this time.
