ASHEVILLE, N.C. —
Asheville police are investigating the stabbing of a man at an apartment complex.
Officers said they responded to the apartment complex in west Asheville shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday about a stabbing.
Officers say when they arrived, they found a man in the parking lot with multiple knife wounds to the upper body and head.
The victim told officers the suspect was still inside the apartment.
Officers found the suspect inside the apartment and took him into custody.
Officers say the victim's injuries are life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact APD at (828) 252-1110.
