An Emmy nominated actor was hospitalized in New York City this week.
According to multiple reports, including by People and TMZ, Liev Schreiber suffered a massive headache and underwent several tests during an overnight stay, a representative told People.
“Out of an abundance of caution, Liev went into the hospital for testing and as of this afternoon, he has been cleared to return to work,” the statement said.
Schreiber, 58, has won a Tony Award and has been nominated for nine Primetime Emmy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards during his career.
He has numerous film credits but is best known for playing the titular character in the Showtime drama series Ray Donovan and as the narrator in HBO’s long running docuseries about NFL training camps, Hard Knocks .
