COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation says a section of Interstate 126 will be closed starting Sunday.
SCDOT said the closure will involve the flyover bridge and ramps from I-126 West onto I-26 East, as well as from Colonial Life Boulevard onto I-26 East.
The agency said the closures will begin Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. and traffic will resume at 6 a.m. the following morning. Closures will continue on that schedule throughout the duration.
Work is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 26 at 6 a.m.
SCDOT added that signs will be placed on I-126 West and I-26 West to inform drivers of the detour.
