COLUMBIA, S.C. — Forest Drive has reopened near Providence Street after a natural gas line cut closed the road earlier in the afternoon, according to the Columbia-Richland Fire Department.
Around 2:45 p.m., Forest Drive was shut down in the area of Providence Street while crews worked to repair the damaged line. Fire officials did not specify how the line was cut.
