GREENVILLE, S.C. —

Officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian in Greenville, South Carolina, on Wednesday evening.

Around 5:39 p.m., officers with the Greenville Police Department responded to a collision near the Spinx gas station at the intersection of Pendleton Street and South Academy Street.

According to Greenville Police, a pedestrian was taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle.

WYFF News 4 Photojournalist Kyle Clardy reported that the road was cleared by 6:35 p.m.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office has not responded to the scene.

No other details have been released.
