Teachers in the Natomas Unified School District rallied at a board meeting as the Natomas Teachers’ Association called for a fair contract and urged district leaders to shift budget priorities to better support classrooms. Negotiations for the 2025–26 school year began in February, but the district says no agreement has been reached after more than a dozen meetings. The previous contract expired June 30, and teachers are continuing to work under the old terms while talks continue.
