MERIDEN, CT (WFSB) - State transportation officials posted their Thanksgiving week construction schedule for one of the busiest interchanges in the state.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation said there will be no inspection, maintenance, or construction activities on the Interstate 91, Interstate 691, and Route 15 interchange in Meriden.

The CT DOT said that pause would run from 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, to 6 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1.

It said only emergency work would be considered.

After that, daytime work resumes Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. as part of phase two of the interchange construction project.

That is expected to include lane and shoulder closures on all three highways.
