BAY CITY, MI — A Bay City teen is in police custody after allegedly firing a gun and threatening another teen with it.
Police at about 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, responded to reported gunfire in the 200 block of South Henry Street on the city’s West Side. They determined a 15-year-old had brandished a handgun, fired at least once into the air, and pointed the firearm at an 18-year-old man.
The gun-wielding teen fled into a nearby residence before officers arrived. The 15- and 18-year-old were known to each other prior the incident, police said.
Police obtained a search warrant for the residence. They and the Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team (EST) served the warrant and arrested the suspect in the process.
Officers seized a handgun and other evidence from the house. Th
