TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - This morning, the American Red Cross is reporting that 72 adults, 1 baby, and 4 pets have been displaced after a massive two-alarm fire erupted late Wednesday night at the Social Seminole Apartment Complex .
The Red Cross is also reporting that 53 Florida State University students are included in the total number displaced. The FSU Dean of Students, FSU victim advocate, property management, and the Red Cross have coordinated and were able to relocate residents for the time being.
Thursday morning, the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) reported that 6 people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One firefighter was also treated for a minor injury unrelated to the fire, according to TFD.
