LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Laredo Police officers arrested a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) supervisor after responding to a domestic disturbance call where a juvenile was allegedly assaulted.
Police responded to the 9900 block of Mahin Dr. at 8:32 p.m. on November 18 after a caller reported being locked in a restroom and requesting assistance.
Officers contacted 44-year-old Hecmar Nieves, who had allegedly assaulted a juvenile. Police also noticed visible injuries on the juvenile consistent with the allegations.
Nieves identified himself as a CBP supervisor during the investigation. He was arrested and charged with assault of a family or household member that impedes breath and circulation.
