Another car became stuck on the guided busway on Thursday (November 20). The vehicle was driven onto the busway at St Ives shortly before 10.55am.
The busway has become a notorious 'car trap' in recent years, with drivers repeatedly turning onto the busway tracks. There is a Facebook group dedicated to sharing images of cars stuck on the busway.
The Cambridgeshire guided busway connects Cambridge , St Ives, and Huntingdon , as well as the towns and villages in between.
A photograph from the scene shows the car tilted on the busway tracks. A 'no entry' sign reading 'except guided buses' is visible from the opposite direction of travel to that of the car in the photograph.
