The Blaine County Recreation District this winter will deploy North America’s first fully-electric Nordic snow cat, a PistenBully 100e.

The zero-emissions machine, purchased using funds raised from the Nordic skiing community, will be located at Hailey's Quigley Trails Park and will be used daily once the season starts. It will join a fleet of snow cats the Recreation District uses to maintain more than 150 kilometers of trails.
