After a little rain overnight, heavier showers are on the way in Kansas City.

The rain will continue through Friday morning and begin to taper off in the afternoon. Friday will be blustery with a high of 56.
Thursday and Friday are First Alert Weather Impact Days due to the downpours impacting evening plans and the Friday morning commute.
This will be the first time the metro has seen substantial rain in about four weeks, meaning the moisture is much-needed.
That rain will clear out Saturday and Sunday, with highs of 57 and 62, respectively. For the Chiefs
