Texas adds another women's hoops blue-chip recruit in Addison Bjorn

Texas women’s basketball added another major piece to its future on Thursday, landing a commitment from Addison Bjorn, the No. 10 recruit in the girls’ SC Next 100 class of 2026. The decision gives coach Vic Schaefer back-to-back top-10 prospects, following Wednesday’s signing of No. 8 Brihanna Crittendon.

Bjorn, a 6-foot-1 wing and longtime USA Basketball standout, chose the Longhorns over 30 other programs.

“I chose Texas because of the strong winning culture and it really felt like home,” Bjorn told ESPN . “My goal is to do whatever it takes to help bring a national championship to Texas.”
