Several people are now displaced after an early-morning fire swept through a rowhome in Philadelphia's Hunting Park neighborhood.

According to officials, the Philadelphia Fire Department responded to reports of a fire on the 4000 block of North 7th Street around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Officials said that when firefighters arrived at the scene, they found heavy smoke coming from the front bedroom of a two-story rowhome.

Crews were able to place the fire under control just a few minutes after arriving, officials shared.

Officials said no injuries were reported; however, six people are now displaced from their homes.
