A TikTok video circulating widely on social media is raising new concerns about immigration enforcement in metro Atlanta.
Text written in Spanish on the video translates to "Checkpoint on Pleasantdale Road." The post has racked up nearly 14,000 likes and more than 100 comments, with many users claiming Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were involved.
A woman who spoke with 11Alive's Chase Houle off-camera said her friend was detained by an agent during the operation seen in the video.
Reports on ICEout.org , a site where people can submit sightings of immigration enforcement activity, also show six additional alleged ICE operations in the area. However, when Houle clicked on the reports to check whether any were confirmed, the posts disappeared.
