BOLIVAR, Tenn. (WMC) - A Tennessee couple is facing a minimum sentence of 15 years’ imprisonment for allegedly enticing a prepubescent minor to engage in sexual activity on camera.
A federal grand jury in Jackson, Tennessee, has returned an indictment charging Randall Scott Sharpe, 56, and Tina Angelique Sharpe, 61, both of Granville, Tennessee, with multiple federal child sexual exploitation offenses.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee says the crimes happened while the couple shared “custody and control of” the victim, but did not explicitly state that the victim was a biological child of theirs.
